well it was an interesting day yesterday, and this week is also looking busy. its all about prioritizing, i gotta say that i care a lot less about some stuff than i used to. output drives input!

case of the mondays

coming back from vacay always sucks, especially if its on a monday! booo-urns! nyc was fun and very relaxing though my feet hurt from all the walking. my new favourite order at starbucks is venti ice water lol

maybe it should have been a spelling workshop

we had a writing workshop at work yesterday and one of the moderators running the workshop didn't know how to spell grammar. she was writing it on the white board and stopped to ask 'is it er or ar'. needless to say this invalidated the rest of the workshop, i spent the rest of the session texting my coworker trying to get him in trouble by making him laugh out loud.

two sayings i miss

1. singspiration - no more using 'worship' to describe musical worship, or songs of praise, or anything like that. its time to bring back singspiration, a word with very deep roots. singspiration, quite literally, is a time of singing and inspiration inspired by the spirit that may or may not involve a pirate. something like that anyways. i think it can be used as a verb too, for example, you might invite someone to singspiration by saying something like: come, now is the time to singspirate.

2. talk to the hand - we don't really do this one anymore but it was one of the greatest comebacks we know of, not only does it directly reject the initial speaker it also involves a flashy gesture of defiance when you give them your palm. can be supplemented with a pshhhh as well.

the fus

wow fun weekend, the fus had their wedding day and it was a very fun time for all. i dont remember the first time i met clinton but i assume it was at lccf, dude was all black all the time which was very good times lol. ev i think was the first one i met at lccf and used to make me sit up at the front in bu111 where i would fall asleep during jim's lectures. the two of them work really well together cuz they're both complete dorks in their own unique way. clinton is definitely the more mature one but his growing fascination for toys holds him back a bit. ev is just ev and my enduring image of her is when she was dancing / lip syncing to girls just wanna have fun.

anyways the party got a little rowdy after the adults left and a few gentlemen (clowns) drank themselves stupid, it was actually pretty hilarious. it was probably our first real reunion in a while so i guess it was to be expected :) anyways congrats to the newly minted couple, cheers!

gahh busy

well we handed in our written report today now all that's left is the presentation which comes at the end of june. then i'm off to my next adventure, woohoo! work has gotten really busy plus school plus this and that. lots on the plate to knock off, just have to do it little by little thats the plan anyways.

in other news a friend told me a funny situation and i laughed, teehee!
