i miss blogging!!

i hope i can do it well into my thirties but i will be lucky to keep at it for the rest of this year. wednesday was ash wednesday and i realized the last few years i havent been thinking of things to 'give up' as we used to, i'm hoping this year will be a more conscious reflection into what God is saying to me these days.

family vacay

at mco international now about to board our flight home to yyz - a bit of a delay but hopefully we land by 1ish! weird that it got really cold when we left toronto last sunday and now as we are leaving orlando it also got really cold. of course orlando really cold = sweatshirt weather while toronto really cold = parka weather. not looking forward to seeing any of that white stuff, i miss shorts weather already!

florida is just terrific! when you step out of the airport and that balmy air hits you and you see the palm trees i just love it! outlet shopping today, will go to a hospitality suite tonight for dinner/drinks. tomorrow more shopping perhaps. also love that beer is so cheap here at walgreens good grief!

productivity

what a day at work, i breezed through two 1hr meetings this morning in 25 minutes, then another 1 hour conference call i finished in 13 minutes this afternoon. im pretty much ready to go home now but i should probably hang around a little longer hrmm.. wish all days were like today!

pho-tastic

finally after about 2 weeks of craving pho i got to go today. the last two viet places i went to didnt serve pho. can you believe that? how ridiculous does that sound. first was in montreal for new years and the place was really weird, i couldnt understand the french menu but it turns out there was nothing even close to big bowl of noodle soup. second was last week when we went to some fusion thai/viet place in oakville. maybe it was jap/viet, i dont remember. anyways they were too good for pho or something so it wasn't on the menu. what a relief to finally indulge today about bloody time!

well last week im pretty sure i got my coworker sick, now shes the one in the office coughing and wheezing and in general, dying. its so gross in here as the germs are rampant, but i guess thats what i get for spreading the germs myself last week. would it be offensive if i told her to wear a n95 mask?

running windows 7 now, goodbye to xp chinese bahahaha! i was going to reinstall xp engrish but i needed to slipstream sp2 onto my xp cd. riiiiight. this was just a lot easier. so far so good, boy am i glad i skipped vista and went straight to this!
