i posted this on tuesday. i have NO idea why it didnt come up. crazy ol blog :)

so its tuesday morning, i have class in about 45 mins, but i thought id post a bit anyways :) yesterday my internet went retarded cuz my ethernet card decided to uninstall it's own drivers for some reason, and then didnt want to reinstall when i tried to fix it. but miraculously enough, this morning it happened to fix itself and all is well again :) so yesterday we went to this thing called embassy, which is like a church for youth kinda thing, and they had this rockin service. it was dirty. like DIRTY. like the worship was sickly good. i was gonna fall over and die. so good. oh man. leo if you're reading this, you hafta come sometime. its just THAT good. but yeah, after the worship, the speaker was alright. i dunno. he said some good stuff, but i didnt really like the way in which he presented his points. like he would use a lot of quotes from famous people. like a LOT of them. dont get me wrong, i dont mind SOME. but there were so many. and a lot of his 'biblical' content was quotes from the message. i dont know if thats okay or not, cuz its not REALLY a bible, but maybe im just being picky again :) anyways, afterwards we went to go visit alli and hung out with her. we played jitz and pool at her res, and i guess i got a little carried away with the jitz cuz we were losing quite badly. and so i wanted to keep playing until we won a game. and afterwards sharon told me that i was actually being quite a jerk and was acting quite prideful.. and i kinda saw it. so that really made me rethink my motives and my actions, and just where i am with God. i guess im not as strong as i'd like to think, or as i'd like to be. im really trying to get deeper with God, but lately i haven't been going anywhere.. so if you'relooking for prayer requests, my spiritual life is a big one.
the other thing i want to blog about is this girl anita. she goes to laurier in like.. 4th year business, and she goes to all the ccf stuff with us. now lemme tell you, she is one of the nicest ppl ive ever met. shes totally one of my new favourite ppl. she was really nice to us and invited us over to her place for some good ol fashioned chinese food, and shes so funny. and the best thing is shes got a n64 with mario tennis and nobody plays with her. :) so we're gonna go and play with her everyday now :) haah but yeah, shes just helping us fit in really well, and its cool that God puts people like her into our lives to help us out. same with jon and adrienne. without the three of them the transition would definitely be a lot harder. but anyways, thats eenough for now, hope everyone is doing great! see you all soon.
