so wow!! its now two weeks into the schoolyear. here i am at laurier. sorry but i would have blogged earlier if i had INTERNET!!! GRRRR. stupid school. we just got internet yesterday. and its so incredibly slow right now. im d/l at 1kb per sec. the most its gone up to so far is 2.86. goodness. oh well. anyways, i have lots to blog about, but i forgot a lot of it. first week was fun. i didnt participate in orientation week so we hung around and did other stuff. meh. and then classes started, which werent too bad at all. my times are pretty early on some days, but i'll survive. im not really making too many new friends.. but i dont really mind. is that bad? im trying to get out of my comfort zone and talk to ppl, but it takes time. so we'll see. dont pressure me!! :) hehe but thats okay. the guys on my floor think im a loser. so now im like their 'pity friend'. cuz they all say hi to me in the halls and stuff now even though they dont know me. i DID meet this one girl whos a nice one in my business program. she even signed up for a firday morning 8:30 lab just so i wouldnt be alone. shes cool. and the other day i started talking to this guy outta the blue. it was SO not me. we were eating breakfast and then sharon and her friend amy had to go to some music thing so i was gonna head back to my room but then i saw him sitting there eating alone so i went up and sat down and started talking to him. kinda cool. turns out hes in my building as well. so that was kinda cool. anyways, for those of you that dont know about laurier, its ENTIRELY WHITE. hahaha :) not that thats a bad thing. but im just not used to it yet. they all party while i try to study :) eeeps! but i'll survive. dont i always? spose so. anyways, i'll blog more later during the week. im getting hungry and i have a whole chicken to eat by myself. mmmm :)
