friday friday friday friday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

oh man im so glad its friday. the week is over!!! wheeeeeeeeee! anyways the week actually passed by pretty quickly, and im actually not THAT tired (but i'll probably pass out once i get home). so its the long weekend, and im off to our church's summer conference. ive been looking forward to it all week long, and finally its here! its gonna be fun (i hope) and i really wanna grow closer to a lot of people, and of course just have some time to spend alone with God. i think thats something that's been missing from my summer so far, just a time to get away with God. even at cc i didnt really have a chance to do that, so im hoping summer conference will allow me just to catch up on whats most important, or at least what should be most important. anyways, just a few more random notes:

a) happy birthday jon, hope you had an amazing day. thanks for being there for me first year, you dont know how much it helped... may the Lord our God watch over you and lead you onto the path of righteousness, that you may continually strive to become a man of integrity, and ultimately, a man of God.

b) happy birthday bri, its been a blessing getting to know you thru softball and growing closer this summer, i have a lot of respect for you, and i hope you also continue to seek after Jesus with all your heart and learn to walk in his path. thanks for keeping me in check when i forget im a governor and do something stupid :)

c) happy birthday dan (sunday), lol we've had some pretty good talks this past week, and looks like we'll have more in the weeks to come. i admire you for saying whats on your mind and sticking to your true convictions. it was a blessing to read what God's been doing thru your team and your devos.

d) ive learned i sometimes need to stop and think before i speak, just like what we studied in james, how everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to become angry. thats what i need right there in a nutshell.

e) along with that, i think i need to study the bible more. and just really apply it. that may seem like the most simple and cliche thing in the world, but its something i gotta work on. just living it. seriously.

anyways, thats about it from me. i hope y'all have an amazing wknd, dont forget to take some time to spend with those who matter the most to you, and ultimately the one who matters the most above all, and to those going to summer conference, woot woot gg!! peace kids.
