dont you just love fridays? this weekend feels like it should be a long weekend. nice weather ahead, lots to do though! hoping for a nice peaceful relaxing one!

hawaii weather

apparently we've matched hawaii weather today.. can i just say i LOVE the AC in our office. im wearing a short sleeve and im a bit nippy here. best feeling is walking into the building and feeling that blast of cold air hit you as you enter. i think i'll go do that now!

and finally we get some warm weather! this weekend was real nice and it looks like its continuing into this week. hopefully the warm stays and the rain holds off for the next little bit. thursday's doubleheader got rained out like crazy, but only after we were done getting soaked while warming up. gross i am surprised i didn't get sick from it but so far so good! looking forward to the long weekend ahead, about bloody time!

april showers bring may snow

we're already into may, i cant believe it. this year is flying by! it snowed this past weekend and we're getting a frost warning in vaughan / rh / markham... can you believe its may?! i know historically we do get a few cold days into summer but this is just a blast. summer is pretty much here though so i do hope it warms up later this week...

i have to do a sharing thing at sg tomorrow.. have no idea what to say! all i remember about life is my hs years+! anything before that is fragmented!

today is a great day to play hookie, it is so gorgeous outside as well! need to find me some green beer at lunch! too bad the weather isnt lasting til this weekend, we are back to rainy days ahead.

the neverending search

since the dawn of mankind, the dominant and prevailing questions of existence and meaning in life have been followed by the equally important search for a work booger wall. yes you heard me. what is the equivalent of a booger wall at work? in the comforts of your own home you can go ahead and put them anywhere you want. in my old house the wall by my bed is absolutely smeared with boogers. what do you do at work? i find myself wanting to clear the nose out but theres nowhere to put the bogarts once extracted. my cubicle walls are relatively high but the surface isnt hard enough to get a good smear going. i could wipe under my desk but im afraid of smudging my pantlegs later. if you come up with a good suggestion for a place to hide bogeys at work i'd love to hear it.

when i go to sleep late my body over-compensates for wanting to get up on time and i always end up getting up way earlier than expected. i was watching the raptors game until about 1 last night and i ended up getting up around 7 this morning when really i shold have slept in til about 8.

oh well, guess i'll just have to nap at work this afternoon.

disappointing game! that last goal summed up the game where perry got outworked for the empty netter. funny how everyone is a hockey expert now, people i've never heard talk hockey (EVER) are giving tips on who should play on what line, which goalie should start, etc. i haven't the foggiest who should start on tuesday - if you start lu and they win against germany, do you put him out there b2b against russia, or do you switch to marty? thats the problem with having (now, apparently) no clear number 1.

isnt it funny how everything we learned in school is extremely temporal? my coworker asked me a basic CVP question today and i had no idea what was going on. just absolutely clueless! i also realized i forgot things i was used to do at work less than a year ago. with the old, in with the new!

i miss blogging!!

i hope i can do it well into my thirties but i will be lucky to keep at it for the rest of this year. wednesday was ash wednesday and i realized the last few years i havent been thinking of things to 'give up' as we used to, i'm hoping this year will be a more conscious reflection into what God is saying to me these days.

family vacay

at mco international now about to board our flight home to yyz - a bit of a delay but hopefully we land by 1ish! weird that it got really cold when we left toronto last sunday and now as we are leaving orlando it also got really cold. of course orlando really cold = sweatshirt weather while toronto really cold = parka weather. not looking forward to seeing any of that white stuff, i miss shorts weather already!
