im DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONE!!!! yippee! anyways, i head back home on wednesday. todays exam wasnt too bad. it was eco. and i checked my math mark, i passed! which means i dont need to retake the course again next term. i think im more happy about that. anyways, im not going to blog about whats been going on with me really, cuz that'll take way too long, cuz its been a while since i last blogged. i will rather blog about a book im reading, desiring God by john piper. now for those of you familiar with piper, you'll know this is like a hero book. for those that don't, i'll strongly recommend you give any sort of piper a read. very very good. anyways theres this one point that he revolves around, that 'God is most glorified in me when I am most satisfied in Him.' think about that for a sec now. he's glorified in you the greatest when you take the most pleasure and delight in Him. and i think thats something we've often overlooked. many times we say we believe in God for the wrong reasons, like not wanting to go to hell, or wanting to get heavenly riches, etc. now those arent ALL bad, but the primary reason why we believe in God MUST be because we delight in Him, because he satisfies us. and until we realize that we wont ever have SAVING FAITH. now he talks about saving faith, and how its different from just 'faith'. saving faith is acquired when we delight in God and in his fellowship through Jesus Christ, not like faith that comes from head knowledge or other stuff. so yah. thats just what i wanted to blog about. sorry its so jumbled and all the points are all overthe place. hopefully you'll take something out of this. and yes. happy holidays. joy to the world indeed!
