so whats been up with me lately? well, i finished two of my three exams. business on saturday wasn't too hard at all. or at least not as bad as i thought it would be at all. considering i only really studied for about 2 days, meh! :) anyways on saturday i went to pho with edmund and sabrina, so we all ordered and the waitress gives me the wrong thing, so im like, no i wrote down number 107. and shes like.. oh okay. so she goes away, and then 2 minutes later comes back with the same plate and tries to pass it off. and im like.. uhmmm no. 107 Large. not 104 small. and so she goes away again, and comes back with our little bill/order form. and shes like, where does it say 107 Large? and so i look at the sheet, and there's my writing, 107 L, with a LINE crossed through it, and the number '104' written beside it. so i was like... uhhhh.. its right there. the one that you crossed out. and she didnt understand. so as to now i still have no idea what happened. they like changed my order for me i suppose. and tried to give me something else. so weird. hahaha :) anyways it was a rather funny experience. so today at cfc the embassy worship team led worship, very good, and then ken taylor spoke about humility. had some very good points, but some were STOLEN. hahaha i know cuz they were like directly from this book i have. hahaha but still, it was very applicable and very good. just very funny. so i was thinking, do pastors recycle sermons? hmm. i dunno! i remember at mitchells theres this book '365 sermons' or something. haha so funny. how sad :) anyways, after church we went to timmys to eat. adn then i went home cuz i was feeling rather ill, even for the past few days. but thats okay, i got some sleep yesterday night, so it was good. so this afternoon i was too chicken to go into my lounge cuz they were watching startrek so i like walked by 5 times to see if they would leave but then they didnt so i went downstairs to watch the raptors game in sharon's lounge. that was nice. :) oh and yeah i watched spy kids. what a horrible horrible movie. i deleted it right afterwards. but oh wait, not as bad as american beauty. *shudder* anyways there was one funny thing about spy kids, that guy who used to be on wings, the guy with the accent, hes the main bad guy in the movie. good stuff. funny guy. i miss him. anyways i also watched shaolin soccer again tonight, without subtitles, i figured it'd help improve my chinese. such a great movie. haha and yeah sharon and i ordered swiss chalet and we watched smallville. and then i spent quite a while convincing sharon to study for her exam tomorrow, but the procrastination was nice too cuz we had some fun talking times. excellent fun! anyways one more quick note to a superhero of mine, you all know about anita (i blog about her sometimes) the hero girl, well her and her housemate are having an open house dinner every night from the beginning until the end of exams. so its like if you're too busy studying you can stop by and get a free meal and some time of fellowship. i just thought that was very heroic, so anita recieves the 'hero of the week' award (she seems to win them quite frequently). we can all learn a lot from the kindness and generosity of others. or at least i know i can.
